Giving You a Fighting Chance

Fees, Terms, and Conditions

Fees

The initial consultation will be free. Cases can be taken on as long as the client has all the paperwork regarding their case. To assess an individual case and produce a comprehensive report, the fee will be £995

Any additional work required would incur further fees. However, these would be agreed with the client prior to investigations beginning. Immediate investigations (just after arrest prior to charge) will incur separate costs. However, this will be on a case-by-case basis (see our terms).

Terms and Conditions

1. Hours of Business

Wrongfully Accused is a 24 hour service. All calls, at all hours, will be answered where possible, if not a call back will take place as soon as possible.

1.1 We are pleased to see clients by appointment, but we are also happy to see clients at their home or at their business premises, if this is more convenient.

2. Responsibility and Communication

2.1 Instructions can be given over the telephone, in a personal meeting, or in writing or via email. Wherever possible, instructions will be confirmed by the client in writing, thus ensuring clarity of instruction and increasing efficiency.

3. Fees

3.1 One of the first questions prospective clients ask is ‘how much does it cost to hire an investigator’? This question is impossible to answer without firstly talking with the client to understand exactly what their issues are and what their objective is.

When we have a clear understanding of all the facts we are then able to give a clear indication on our fees, based on the service required. We always ensure clients fully understand what they will be paying before we accept their instructions.

3.2 Our fixed charges are:

£995 for an initial case review, any subsequent work will be charged on a case by case basis.

£100 an hour for investigations with agreed minimum hours for initial work. Fees will be paid up front by the client however an interim report will be produced by Wrongfully Accused Now half way through the set hours agreed.

In some cases expenses may have to be paid by the client, again this will be agreed on a case by case basis.

3.2 Rates stated may not be appropriate in cases of exceptional urgency, complexity or responsibility. Where such circumstances exist, we must reserve the right to revise rates by mutual agreement.

3.3 In all cases, estimates are given on the basis that the case proceeds reasonably smoothly and without undue complication or delay: If it seems that these factors will cause the estimate to be exceeded we will give you as much notice as possible, and reserve our right to revise the estimate.

3.4 Fees are payable whether or not a case is successfully concluded or completed unless superseded by prior agreement, as may be the case in some instances, for certain categories of service.

4. Payment

4.1 Our charges are payable in advance as agreed with the client and then immediately upon completion of the assignment. In certain matters full payment may be required prior to commencement of the investigation.

4.2 Payments can be accepted by the following methods: - Cash, PayPal, MasterCard, Switch and Bank transfer.

5. Cancellation

5.1 In the event of written cancellation by the client of any service prior to the service being commenced, the client shall be responsible for all costs incurred by the company for administration, due diligence and file creation usually 25%. Payment of these costs become due immediately.
